Went for dinner and had a wonderful experience! The customer service was outstanding. Lolo Rodriguez the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable and welcomed. It truly made the evening special. Highly recommend
We ordered lunch from here to be delivered for 4 people. Everything arrived well packaged and exactly as ordered nothing messed up. They gave us plenty of chips and salsa for everyone. I ordered the 3 brisket tacos. It was still warm when it arrived, about 40 minutes from order to delivery. Everything was fresh and tasted very good, no complaints. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. We will definitely order from here again in the future.
The Uptown location of Mi Cocina maintains the same level of food quality as other locations but has its own distinct vibe. It feels modern, dare I say urban, and sheds the strip center aesthetic found in other spots. The team was eager to make sure we were cared for from the time we got there until we left. The next time HPV has an hour-plus wait, head over to Uptown for an alternative experience that may surprise you.

Laura, our host, was incredibly polite and friendly, which really set the tone for the evening. Manager Maria went above and beyond—she was attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Had a great experience at Mi Cocina! The restaurant has a fancy and very clean atmosphere, and to our surprise, there was no wait—we were seated right away. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I asked our waiter for a fajita recommendation, and he confidently suggested the meat over the chicken. I went with the mix to try both, and he was absolutely right—the meat was the standout! Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely come back.
Mi Cocina restaurant in Uptown was awesome. I think this is the best place for food and service It was my first time at this location. I want to say Thank you to Maria for being so helpful, friendly, and understanding. She helped solved our gift card situation. I will be back and recommend my friends to Mi Cocina. Maria, the manager, is an absolute gem! It was our first time here and she was so so incredibly kind. She took care of us after an accidental spill and went well above and beyond for us. We were already impressed with our experience and the staff but she solidified us becoming return clientele in the future.
